3- Is there any fish or creatures that are haraam? Such as crabs, prawn, catfish.

Bismihi Ta’ala
Al jawaabu ni aunil wahhaab,
So far as the animals and birds are concerned, it is stated in the hadith, “An jaabirin qala harrama Rasoolullahi Wasallam yani yaouma khaibar al humural uunsiyaah luhoomal bigaal wa kulla zi naabin minas siba’ waqulla zi mikhlaabin minat taair,” (Tirmizi) Means, Hazrat Jaabir says on the day of battle of khaibar, Rasoolullah made haraam to eat the meat of domestic donkeys, mules, and ferocious  and fierce animals and those birds who hunt with their claws. Likewise, in another hadith, Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alahi wassallam said that two kinds of dead animals and two kinds of blood are made halal. The two dead animals are: fish, and locust. Two kinds of blood are: Liver, and spleen. (Ibne Maaja, Mishkaat). As far as the animals of water are concerned, except fish no water animal is halal like tortoise, crocodile, crab, etc…Regarding prawn or shrimp our Fuqaha say that not to eat is better. (Bahaare Shariat)
Wallahualam bissawaab,
Sayed Aulade Rasul Qudsi.

4- Can a Muslim eat a halal animal that is slaughtered by those who call themselves the people of book, like Jews, Christians…?

Bismihita’la,
Al jawabu biawnil wahhab,

At the present age those who call themselves the people of book have changed their beliefs and are making various polytheisms (Shirk) so rarely you’ll find the people of book in real manner, because most of them have become polytheists, therefore the meat of their halal animal is not jaez.

Wallahualam bissawaab,
Sayed Aulade Rasul Qudsi.
